DC Water Sewer Tunnel
Georgetown University is issued a wastewater permits from DC Water as the Industrial Pretreatment Program under the supervision of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region III office to regulate industrial wastewater discharged into the District of Columbia’s sanitary and combined sewer system. Georgetown collects wastewater samples, and maintain the pretreatment devices such as grease traps, oil-water separators, etc.
