Laboratory Safety

EH&S is devoted to maintaining a safe teaching and research environment. The Office of Environmental Health & Safety is responsible for the control of chemical, biological and physical hazards within the GU’s buildings and laboratories. Programs designed to implement GU policy and procedures have been established to protect the health and safety of students, faculty, staff and visitors, as well as, to meet the regulatory requirements established by OSHA, EPA, NFPA and other Federal and local authorities.
