Physical Hazards
In addition to the chemical hazards, there are also numerous physical hazards encountered by GU staff on a day-to-day basis. It is important to have good awareness of these hazards, good planning, use of personal protective equipment and following basic safety rules to prevent accidents involving physical hazards.
GU EH&S develops necessary guidelines to protect faculty, staff, and students from occupational physical hazards caused by exposure to excessive temperatures, noise, electrical hazards, falls and falling objects, or confined spaces
