Drugs and other substances that are classified as controlled substances under the Controlled Substances Act must be managed in accordance with federal and district laws pertaining to registration, storage security, use and disposal. EH&S assists registration holders with compliance as controlled substances are used for research, teaching purposes and clinical use.
